Where are you right now?

Choose what sounds most like your situation. We will point you to the services that usually apply, and confirm the right one during your free case review.

My situation
What usually applies

A letter from the IRS or the state

Most letters have a deadline printed on them. Reading it correctly, and answering in time, keeps your options open.

What usually applies

I owe more than I can pay

There is usually more than one way to handle a balance. The right one depends on your income, expenses, and assets.

What usually applies

My paycheck or bank account was hit

Active collection moves fast. The sooner we speak with the IRS or the state, the more room there is to act.

What usually applies

I have not filed in years

Unfiled years are more common than people think, and bringing them current is often the first step to anything else.

What usually applies

Penalties keep adding up

Some penalties can be reduced or removed when there is a reasonable cause or a clean history.

What usually applies

I disagree with an IRS decision

You have the right to have many IRS decisions reviewed. Appeals have their own deadlines, so timing matters.

What usually applies

My business is behind on payroll taxes

Payroll tax balances can become personal for owners. Addressing them early limits the exposure.

What usually applies

A tax debt from my spouse

If a balance on a joint return belongs to a spouse or former spouse, relief may be available.

What usually applies

A problem with my state taxes

State agencies have their own rules and programs. We deal with them directly, just as we do with the IRS.

What usually applies

I have accounts outside the U.S.

If your foreign accounts added up to more than $10,000 at any point in the year, you may need to file an FBAR.

Practice area I

Notices & Audits

When the IRS or the state reaches out

When the IRS or the state questions your return, or makes a decision you disagree with, the first response matters. We read what they are asking for, answer inside the deadline, and represent you from there.

Practice area III

Collections & Enforcement

When collection action has already started

When your wages, accounts, or property are affected, time is the most important factor. We act quickly and deal with the IRS or the state directly on your behalf.

Whatever the service

Every case starts the same way.

No matter which service fits your situation, you know exactly what happens first.

1

Free case review

A 15 minute conversation about the notice or balance you are dealing with. No cost, no obligation.

2

Confidential financial review

We look at your income, expenses, and filings to understand what options are actually available.

3

A strategy in writing

You receive a specific recommendation before anything is filed, and one point of contact from there.

Questions

Before you reach out.

Straight answers to what people ask us most. Anything else, we are happy to cover during your free case review.

What is an Enrolled Agent?

An Enrolled Agent is a tax practitioner licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS on audits, collections, and appeals.

Do I have to speak with the IRS myself?

No. Once you authorize us with a power of attorney (IRS Form 2848), we can speak with the IRS on your behalf and you work directly with our team.

How much does it cost?

The first case review is free and confidential. Fees depend on your case, and we explain them clearly before any work begins.

How long does it take?

It depends on the service and on how quickly the IRS or the state responds. After reviewing your case, we tell you what to expect and keep you updated along the way.

Do you handle state taxes too?

Yes. We work with state tax agencies on notices, balances, and payment plans, in addition to federal matters with the IRS.
